I have chosen to use some adrenaline for my 100 post which happens to be the first from 2014. Lebanon Valley located 1746 US Route 20, West Lebanon, NY 12195 gives me the opportunity to put a spot of color at the beginning of 2014.
I have been there twice. Once with a family’s friend and their kid who was racing his kart in a competition. It was fun till one point. Some parents forget that is a kids’ race and they should let the kids act and compete at their level, though a guy was pushing his boy to bump other contestants. As a result, the race was suspended. Other parents were irritated by the guy’s behaviour. Who wasn’t?
In the same day we had time to admire the muscle cars which were exhibited and waiting for its turn to compete. Lebanon Valley have at least 3 rally tracks for different contests. I must say it’s a big event there as all summer long one can see the campers lined on the left side of Route 20.
The second time I was invited by an acquaintance to a real race, not F 1 but the sound of HP wasn’t bad at all. The race was stopped with different ocasions as one of the drivers was hit or just skidding by his fault. No injuries involved. Pretty cool race, the winner was just a teenager, the prize….some thousands, I cannot tell for sure, bad memory. Anyway, I should definitely do it again.
