This is the second post ( https://atlastracer.wordpress.com/2012/12/22/masion-of-desenzano-veneto-italy/) regarding to Desenzano, a beautiful town from Lombardy (Italy), one of many interesting places which borders Garda Lake (Lago di Garda). If you ever have time to visit Italy make it to the North, you have lots to do ( Florence, Venice, Verona, Milano, Padova). These are the big cities but there are many outstanding places like ( Sirmione, Desenzano, Mantua, Peschiera, Albisano, Prada). I said time, because for visiting Italy we need more than one opportunity. Yes, we can visit Venice in one day, second day we make it to Florence so on… but that isn’t right. We all will be dizzy, too much to cover, enough for what we have seen and at the end too tired to remember the details, until then enjoy this virtual tour of Desenzano.

My daughter got married in this beautiful lakeside town in 2004 and we fell in love with all things italian. Her husband, although English, was born here in 1975 and his Father translated for them during the civil ceremony with Madame Le Maire.

Ciao Dan! I am glad I brought you back in time. What a small world after all! The pictures are taken in February 2012. I guess not much changed since you were there. I believe you that the wedding was a blast.
As for me I would love to get back there in the summer for a swim… at least.
