A paradise for true cars aficionados

Lake George, NY
Fort William Henry Hotel in Lake George Village

It was a cannot-miss car show, around 1600 beautiful classic cars, trucks, customs parts, equipment, services and much more, FREEDOM. The 32nd edition of Adirondack Nationals Car show started on Thursday, September 9th, 2021 and ended on Sunday September 12th, four days of the roars of the engines. Cruises ran north to south on Canada Street (main street) of Lake George Village, NY, then back south to north. Hundreds of chairs and people were line-up to watch the show. Our camping was right on Canada street and we can hear that roaring even at 3 am, one of the noises which somehow doesn’t bother me at all. They held an award ceremony with many awards, favorite Corvette Award, Favorite Mustang Award, etc. I wish that by the time this post is online I could find some info or pictures related to the 2021 winners of 32nd edition. I believe everyone got something to win, quality and amazing time outside the box.

The Mount

The Mount, Edith Wharton’s Home. In the Berkshires, New England, MA.

“Edith Wharton was an American novelist, short story writer, and designer. Wharton drew upon her insider’s knowledge of the upper class New York “aristocracy” to realistically portray the lives and morals of the Gilded Age. In 1921, she became the first woman to win the Pulitzer Prize in Literature, for her novel The Age of Innocence.”

Admiration

“A flower does not think of competing with the flower next to it. It just blooms.”. – Zen Shin.

“Every flower must grow through dirt.”– Laurie Jean Sennott

“To plant a garden is to believe in tomorrow.”. – Audrey Hepburn.

“Open the bloom of your heart and become a gift of beauty to the world.”– Bryant McGill

Lacramioara

“Do not grieve over temptations you suffer. When the Lord intends to bestow a particular virtue on us, He often permits us first to be tempted by the opposite vice. Therefore, look upon every temptation as an invitation to grown in a particular virtue and a promise by God that you will be successful, if only you stand fast.”
― St. Philip Neri
